White Fear

Another failed competition entry… but I’m happy with it 🙂

White Fear

When she opened her eyes it was still staring at her.
So she just stared right back at it.
“You don’t scare me!” she lied.
Taking a deep breath; she tightened her grip.
“You can do this.”
She was telling the truth this time.
The weapon felt cold in her hand but it wouldn’t for long.
With one stroke, the pale terrifying beast was no more.
She looked down; the empty white page was gone.
The words she’d written read…
‘When she opened her eyes it was still staring at her.
So she just stared right back at it.’
